One thing I've learned from TB is that "tort" is the only right answer. Therefore with my newly acquired MIJ Squier I pose the question, Which pickguard: Tort 1, Tort 2, or Tort 3. I've also included brownshell as an option because I happened to have it around. It didn't blow me away however. This bass seems particularly hard to match colors with because the white has aged to a "banana cream" thus, leaving me a bit perplexed. I was initially excited about anondized gold but, due to the yellow color of the bass, I don't think it will work. The white doesn't look half bad either but its a bit boring. Thanks

And on the Write-In Ballot (Black):

Despite the listed choices, black is not completely out of consideration due to the desire to tone down the "banana" situation. The pic is from a cell phone and is a bit washed out.

I love the look of yellowed white finish with a black guard. If it was bright white I would prefer tort. Its about the only thing I like tort on

Nothing I can put my finger on, but tort has never done a thing for me. Same with any of the brownish or reddish burst finishes.

For a white P bass a B/W/B guard would be my choice.
