pickguardless jazz

Besides the obvious ones without pickguards like the Victor Bailey or Jaco, what are some fender basses that don't have the routing hole?(btw, what's the purpose of the routing hole? I've only taken the pickguard off my jazz once and i didn't take time to see what was in the routing hole)

American Jazz Deluxe QMT. Also, American Jazz Deluxe Plus (1994).

iirc the routing hole is put there to line up the bass for the CNC machine to cut it out (on the few fenders that are CNC made)
