pickup dilemma

I wonder is the EMG 45CS pickup close to a Q tuner in tone and character? I have Q tuners but heard that EMG 45CS pups are bright also. Since Q's are no longer in production would the EMG be a good choice?
I guess SD 's would be closer. Any clip compares?

No. The Q-Tuner is a sidewinder design that sounds like a single coil. It uses neo magnets.

The EMG uses ceramic magnets and is a conventional humbucker design.

I make the closest thing to a Q-Tuner currently available. I'm working on a neo version also.
