Pickup install

Hey everyone!
So i have an old, Conrad violin bass (kind of a Hofner imitator) that was my very first bass and I decided I want to try and fix it up to make it playable. I bought some humbucking Hofner style pickups but the holes are too big. Any tips or experience with this would be appreciated.

Where are the trim rings for the old pickups? Use them to mount the new pickups, if the holes are the wrong size, then use them as a pattern for new rings; you could use Plexiglas or pickguard material to make the new rings.
