Pickup Screw Anchors....

So I just received a bass I had ordered on saturday and everything looked great until I got to the pickups. The neck pick up was sticking halfway out on the top (e string) side where the screws would normally keep it into place. The little anchors that actually sit in the body/pocket where the pickup goes seem to have both popped out and now the pickup wont stay in. Is there a way to fix this? Or would I be better off RMAing it?

What kind of bass and, aside from the defect mentioned, is it a player / keeper? Normally, I would say "send it back" but if it's a mass-produced off-the-rack instrument that really shines, I would consider doing the repairs provided it didn't cost an arm & a leg. There's a good chance we could step you through the process provided you add some pics and can handle a screwdriver with some degree of grace. OTOH, if the bass is "meh" or just doesn't connect with your inner soul...pack it up.

Hey thanks for the replies guys. I ended up just packing it up and sending it out, I'm waiting on a bg250 to come in so I'm not in too big of a rush. It was a Warwick rockbass streamer 4 I had been gassing for but I had never ran in to that problem before.
