Our first gig of the summer on the same bill as Isaac James and Quiet Riot at the local midwest biker rally . As you can see we aren't into image at all but still have a good time and rock enough that these bigger gigs ask us back every year . Isaac James and Quiet Riot dress all in black and look very cool as they should since they either are in the game or are trying to get there but we are too old to be doing any of that and are happy doing what we do . By the way the guys in both other bands were very cool with us , no ego trips or condesending attitudes since we were a local band , very good gig .

I am that guy, and if you check back in this thread, you will see that I put about as much thought into my onstage wear as you do in your ridiculous generalizations about people in these pics

...AND I don't see any pics of you, so I am going to generalize that you don't have a band to play in since you seem to spend more time looking in your closet than at the fretboard of your bass.

Prove me wrong...

Take it easy, buddy.
No more of this. From anyone. Cool?

Secondly, I get the whole "real musicians let their chops shine, and don't care what they wear" argument, but some of the guys in here clearly made some effort and still end up looking like a C++ programmer going speed dating having skim-read "pickup artistry for the socially inept 101".

I am a C++ programmer in real life!

Two night roadhouse gig last weekend. Havent played out in a very long time. I probably rocked a little harder than a mature musician should.( Damn kids. Get off my lawn!) For a local cover band that also plays a few originals, we had way more fun than we should. Great, well paying gig, and were given a number of additional dates.

This was either a really good note or I just peed my pants on stage. The 63 NAV P sounded amazing, and I was running FoH through an EV RE320.

The Dingwall Super J5. My wife will probably be asked to bury me with this bass.
