Double Bass piezo friedly mods for preamp pedals - Radial & Tech 21

FYI here are two solutions I came up with for doubling on upright and electric.
1) Tech 21 Deluxe, sent it back for a high impedance input on input B. I haven't measured it, but it's supposed to be greater than 6 Meg. It uses surface mount components. Sounds great.
2) Just found out the Radial Bass bones can be mod'ed for a 10 meg input by swapping out the 470k resistors. Ch 1 is R52 & Ch2 is R54.
Radial uses standard old school resistors. Haven't made the mod yet, I may do it today.

Hey, couple of questions though...

1) is it the Tech 21 Bass Driver Deluxe?? (they make a VT Bass deluxe now too....)

2) What are the new resistor values to plug in to the Bassbone?

I personally can't hear the difference between 4 Meg and 10 Meg on my current setup. But I have not done a scientific setup with great amps side by side.

I can readily hear the difference between a 1 Meg and 4 meg input in a variety of circumstances.

I just went to Radio Shack and they had 10Megs so I bought them.

Bass Driver deluxe. I use it for a little programmable drive and for switching between upright and electric.

BTW, I just looked at the BassBone frequency response and it has a subtle high frequency boost in both channels. I just sent Radial an email about this.

The preset EQs are wide notches, 1 around 500Hz, 2 lower, like 350Hz.

I just swapped the reistor for channel 2. Mildly frustrating, I am not a skilled tech so it was tedious working around the 1/4" input jack. The mod is fine.
