    Luither sent me a photo of all the strings saying “if you want these come grab them. Going in the trash tonight”. Obviously being an addict I went over and got them. I went through and got rid of all damaged ones. Here is what we have. Don't know age. Just basing on condition. Add $5 for shipping.


    4 permanent Extended E strings- $50
    1 permanent g - $15
    1 permanent A - $15
    1 passion extended E - $20
    Kaplan full set W/ extended E - $60
    Helicore Orchestra Medium EADG- $30
    Belcanto ADG- $60
    Belcanto DA (x2) - $30 each
    Spiro medium DA- $40
    Lone spiro A- $20
    Helicore orchestra A and Extended E- $15

    Unknown ADG maybe original Flexocore (blue winding on both ends) - $50 if it is purple you are correct.

    The « solo » Helicores are in fact the heavy gauge ones.

    I think I was wrong.
    Heavy gauge is using a red band.
    If I’m not mistaken, the early productions were using a blue band for medium gauge, which was abandoned later.
    So your strings would be very old medium Helicores.

    Crazy. Makes sense they were the back up strings in a case so i'm sure they were there for a while.
