Double Bass PJB Briefcase refuses to power up?

Strangely, my Briefcase will no longer power up. I've checked the power cords, the fuses, everything seems fine. This thing is virtually mint and never been gigged, but way past the warranty.

Last time I used it was probably about a month ago with no issues. Sat in my garage since then.

Any ideas?

This answer won't help, but the same happened to me a few years ago with a PJB I used to use. Checked -everything-. It was an intermittent problem, too. I eventually sent the head module back to the factory for repair but the problem still persisted. Several years later, someone else was using that same amp and had the same problem. They eventually popped the thing open and replace a fuse that was INSIDE the amp section. After that, no problems at all.

So maybe this answer helps. There is a fuse INSIDE the head. You may want to check or replace that.

Huy - this may not be helpful, but I thought I would pass it on: you sold me a Flightcase a ways back and I use it often. Sometime this past year, the power cord got left behind at a gig/concert/rehearsal/whatever. No big deal, right? I replaced it with another universal plug I had lying around, one that looked a little beefier than the original one. After I did that, the amp would sometimes be difficult to turn on or power off from time to time. Turns out the power cord I replaced the original with wasn't as good a fit for the socket on the amp as the original. When the amp powers down, I have to re-seat the plug to make it come back on. So maybe in addition to checking the fuses, you might also check the seating of the power cable in the socket and try a different one.

I did try a different cord and made sure it was seated well. No diff. I'll try again tho and will pry it open to see what's going on inside. Thanks guys.
