Double Bass PJB Briefcase Ultimate

Anyone have one of the new Phil Jones Briefcase Ultimates? Love to hear your feedback, especially compared to the original.

I haven't had the chance to compare them directly side by side, but I owned the regular version for ~ 1 year, and the ultimate for 1 day, and I returned it. There was not so much difference to me in term of volume. I felt that the ultimate sounded more like 'over-boosted' VS the more 'relaxed' standard edition. Just my opinion. Also, the XLR DI out on the Ultimate was PRE volume, and VERY hot. I mean, barely unusuable with a console that doesn't have a PAD on the mic pre. I asked Phil about that, and he told me the level was supposed to be even lower than the regular edition, but I don't think so. I might buy another regular version soon.
