Pjb cab 27 linked to a C2?

For home practice I use a TC electronic BH-250 Wich can connect to 1 cab.
With it I use a pjb C2 200w 8ohm cab that has a link.

Now this works wonders not annoying the locals ever, but I would love a tiny bit more oomph.
So I have been eyeing a pjb cab 27 Wich is 200w 8ohm aswell.
And it fits the rack that holds everything.

Now I'm wondering if linking this to my C2 would make a noticeable difference?
And in all honesty I have never linked cabs before so I don't even know of this will affect the impedance.

Tldr : tc electronic bh 250 with a pjb C2 linked to a pjb cab 27 worth it? Will linking affect impedence?
Is 2x 7+5+3 inch better then just 2x 5 inch?

Will linking affect impedence?
Yes, if you connect the Cab 27 to the C2 via the parallel jacks on the cab, it will affect the impedance of the total load presented to the amp. Both cabs are 8Ω, the resultant load is 4Ω; the amp is rated for 4Ω, so it would be OK. I can't say how well the two cabs would work together.

It makes no difference how you connect the cabs to the amplifier, electronically they will be connected in parallel. Two 8 ohm cabs are fine on that amp: it will give a net impedance of 4 ohms.
I don't know how well those cabs would mix, but I'd expect the C27 to be noticeably louder than the C2. You really need PJB owners who've tried it to comment.

I have a C2 and a PJB Cub Pro. I also have an ELF, which may be similar to the TC Electronics but maybe not. You have a lot of options.

One option is to get a 10" speaker and place the C2 on top. Or you can get a double eight and place the C2 on top in a linear array. I have tried both and while they have somewhat different overall sounds the general result is good.

Let me know if you want any recommendations on 1x10s or 2x8s.

Thanks for the response.
I had considered a 1x8 or 1x10, I have tried the 2x8 tc electronic one (without the C2) in the past and that was a bit to much oomph for me personally.

Originally I thought about getting the trace elliot bassbox 110.
But I figured I would stick to 1 brand and I have never in my life heard a trace Elliot before, and nowhere near me could I try one.

It's just hard to make a decision, option paralysis.

Does a 1x10 fill out the C2 nicely?
I really love the sound of the pjb stuff but there's a minor fear the 2x7 is to much like the 2x8 was.

The TE 110 is really great, I used to have two of them but I sold one to my friend. I also have the TE 2x8 which is also great, (full disclosure, I read the article by Tom Bollus and bought two TE 2x8s and a Quilter 800 and that is a great setup as well.

I can say that the 2x5s on top of the 110 is pretty great, but YMMV.
PM me for more.
