PJB CAB-27 - speaker break-in

Does the 7" PJB woofer break-in like a standard speaker? With my Ampeg bass amps I would use an iPad through the aux input and play some extremely bass heavy music for 12-24 hours at around 100 db or so. The sound seemed a bit smoother after that. (This was done in my detached garage office with the speaker firing into a heavily upholstered chair. I did not enter the room unless I had both earplugs and sound deadening headphones on. The sound level outside of the garage was less than that of the BOOM-BOOM car stereos that inevitably end up beside me at traffic lights.)

I play at home only so break-in volume will never be reached, but I know many drivers smooth out once broken in. Does the PJB do this?

Thanks.

Don't waste your time, and potentially damage your speakers. For the most part, speaker break-in is an urban myth but with just a little truth for certain types of driver construction (that we really don't use in the bass speaker industry).
