Playing Guitar Through Bass Amp?

Its not going to hurt anything to give it a try. If you have a cab with speakers typically favored by guitarists and can take the power of your bass amp, that is probably your best chance for success.
I haven't tried my guitar through my bass rig. But going the other way, my Jazz bass sounds very nice through a mesa boogie mark IVA into an Ampeg 410 cab.
