coming off a very long absence, i will be playing a handful of gigs in a five piece country band. i will be playing through a mesa walkabout 12 more than likely DI into the house.
i haven't had any recent experinece as of late and am really out of the loop regarding how to relate to soundmen, the jingo used etc.
the only thing i do know is that i can play my part, but the rest i am a little nervous about.
i guess what i am doing is picking the brains of you all here as to what i need to watch out for, suggestions i could make to the house, etc.
anyone played with the WA and if so, does it have an adequate DI or do i need an external one? i chose this combo because the feedback was very positive about this part of the amp

I could see the sound man preferring you not use it, only because the DI is probably powered by the mains feed - creating potential ground loop/noise issues...

Otherwise, it should be ok...
I just bought a Radial JDI ... I love it, it's got a nice sound to it and solves the problem relatively cheaply and quickly.
