Playing while sick

Music is the Cure! Play It If You Can! And of course it don't make you worse. I have been sick for going on three years now [nothing contagious] and the best I feel is when playing. I have been relying on a lot of help from band mates gear wise, pay back from being the workhorse for all those years.

I do not have the flu.....just the measles.....and now so does everyone else! ;-)

But seriously it is just a bad head cold (headache, runny nose, sore throat, etc.) I took a bunch of painkillers (the legal kind) and made it through the show. I remember my brother-in-law once taking Sudafed mid show and was completely zonked out of his mind. He said he did not remember playing the second set. I did not want a repeat performance.
