Playing with a loop pedal (Boss RC-3) and a drummer...

Wazzup guys. Right now I am playing with a drummer and we are writing songs in this duo format. I own a Boss RC-3 loop station pedal which is awesome and very easy to use... alone.

Normally when I am at home and record a riff so I can play a solo over it, the pedal works wonderfully. But once I try with my drummer (which is a pretty good one) we always get out of tempo.

Any tips from anyone using a loop station pedal with a human drummer so that we don´t get out of tempo?

Not easy. Boss rc3 doesn't have a midi output. Assuming your loops are perfect without a quantized loop device (start and stop of a loop are crucial to keep the loop itself in time) and your drummer has no problems to follow an external groove, then:
a headphone cable and a pair of ear buds.
This should be enough for the drummer to ear and stay locked.
But you need a lot of practice and maybe it's never going to be immune from mistakes.

Mmmh...Boss rc3 has an auto-quantize mode, but doesn't have a headphone jack.
