Please help me fix this Rogue Series 3 Pro LX405

It seems like quite a few people here own one of these, so I am hoping you can help me where everywhere else has not.

Can you help me figure out how to rewire this?

I have it working in a passive configuration, but I can't figure out where to solder the battery positive at. I'm also not sure if my passive configuration is correct, even if it worked.

Where is the best spots for soldering the positive and negative battery terminals?

Should I wire the jack differently? I'm sure this is part of my problem, since I am hoping that the jack is part of completing the circuit to avoid the battery being wired always-on

Bonus question, what about the best spot for this bridge ground? It was taped down, but the tape has finally crumbled away whilst fumbling around in here.

I managed to sort it out. I contacted Musician's Friend and they sent me a description of the normal flow for bass' of this configuration. It's a MESS and I don't want to post it because it doesn't entirely make sense as described, but in my case here the issue was that I attempted to connect the battery to the jack alongside the + terminal of the EQ and the hot wire from the rest of the chain.

In fact, the battery needed to be connected directly to the + terminal of the EQ. The only thing I needed to connect to the jack was the ground wires from the pots and bridge to the outside loop of the barrel jack, the tall inner loop of the barrel jack took the hot wire from the pots, and the short inner loop of the barrel jack took the negative wire from the battery.

I will post some pictures later so that others benefit if they find one of these laying around and want to fix it up too.

Been elbow deep in resuscitating a strat, so got distracted from figuring this out for a few days. I didn't like any pictures I've taken and I don't wish to post a video, so I spent a while websearching diagrams. This is essentially, and I think exactly, how this bass is wired. Outside ring of the output jack is ground, inside tall ring is battery negative, inside short ring receives the hot wire from the EQ/pickups.
