Please Help! Trying to Find Best Splitter Pedal (AB box)

hey guys,

so heres the deal, i need a good ab pedal. I've had a radial bass bone and i currently have the lehle 3@1.

I'm at a loss because both of these pedals lowered my overall output a lot (even with them both cranked) and the worst part is that there is a huge loss of tone (especially in the low and low mid frequencies).

i have a cheap $20 splitter at the studio and it does a better job of keeping my volume even and there is no apparent tone loss on it than a unit 3 to 4 times more its value.

the only reason I'm not using the cheap one is because there is no dedicated volume for the B channel and there is no light to tell between the two.

is there something that I'm missing here? is there another alternative? i would like to have 3 outputs if possible, but 2 is fine. i also don't want to go any higher in price (lehle basswich is out), plus i don't wanna go that route anyway.

just need a good ab pedal that doesn't suck tone, keeps the volume with or without it in the chain and has a light when it is engaged.. no alt preamp boosting etc..

thanks
