please help

I have a six string Cort a6 bass that I’ve had for years but I’ve never liked the pickups in it when passive there to week I have bartolini mk1s in there and the pre amp the treble is way to high in treble and is un usable and the mid and bass are ok I have a master vol balance and mid treble and bass set up but I would like a master vol, balance, passive tone, and mid treble bass E.Q with a parmetic mid I would like a Jaco sounding bridge pickup. Can anyone help on what to get I don’t know much about bass pickups and pre amps I want a Jaco sounding bridge pickup

More appealingly...

"I have a six string Cort a6 bass that I’ve had for years but I’ve never liked the pickups in it. When passive they're too weak. I have bartolini mk1s in there and [with] the pre amp [there is way too much] treble and is unusable [but] the mid and bass are ok. I have a master vol, balance, and mid, treble, and bass set up but I would like a master vol, balance, passive tone, and mid, treble, bass E.Q with a parmetic mid. I would [also] like a Jaco sounding bridge pickup. Can anyone help [out] on what to get? I don’t know much about bass pickups and pre amps I want a Jaco sounding bridge pickup."

That's my interpretation. :p

I don't know about Jaco tone but for one, it sounds like you just want to pop in a classic passive tone knob right before the output. I don't know about the parametric mids. Expect playing style, etc comments about Jaco's tone to follow though!

Friggin editing. I need to proofread.
