Please recommend me a two bass gig bag

Got myself a double gig bag from Pro Bag for XMAS. Very nice, very well padded, very well made. Moderatley expensive, but not bad at all for a hand-made, made-to-order product.

As suggested by James Hart, their website is: http://www.probag-net.com/

Johnny Chavez -- the guy that answered all my e-mails and made sure that they got my specs just right -- was great to deal with! He had me measure all my basses to ensure a good fit; we discussed finishes, colors, features, etc; covered shipping and lead-times; and all-around answered any questions that I had and always returned my e-mails promptly, as well as providing a cell-phone number for contact should I need it. This is the second bag of theirs I own and don't think I'll ever need another gig bag.

I've also used the Gator leatherette double bag, the Pro-Tec double bag, and the Warwick bag. All of these are excellent product, IMO, and would serve you well.

I've used an Access two-bass bag for about 18 months. It is very well made and has performed flawlessly. It features really tough ballistic cloth, reinforced seams (nary a stitch has popped), a generous pocket, a shoulder strap, plus multiple handles. It was also large enough to hold my 35"-scale 5-string (Lakland Skyline JO5) before I sold it.

You'll need to contact Access for current dealers and check ebay. I bought mine from Low Down Sound in Detroit (before Don shut down the retail store) for approx. $85.00 including shipping.

Wonderful product. Great deal.

Love this company. Great folks that make a time honored product. I've had a double-electric bass case, a case for my upright and for my amp that have lasted 15 years.

+1.

I don't have the amp one, but the other 2 I do. The double electric bag has an opened corner on the pocket, but that's it. I've had it for going on 4 years. The back pack straps are comfortable, the pockets have plenty of space, and I see these bags lasting a long time. I've gotten caught in heavy rain and my gear has remained dry.

all the best.
