Please show me your basses and guitars wall mounted

I'm considering getting some sheets of maple plywood, drilling them into studs, then putting my Hercules Stands attached to the plywood. There's also these stands that attach to wall rails. I will probably put a coat of lacquer or tung oil on the maple.

What do you have that works in your home?

Thanks in advance for any advice or experience you have.

Converted my son's old bedroom to my music room. I removed the closet doors, installed some horizontal lumber for hangers installed some red LED rope lighting (just because I like how it looks) and came up with this. But I don't have a large collection so the small space works.

I like the horizontal look too, that might be cheaper. The funko pops on top is also a cool idea! I have the album art frames too. I will need the closet for sax storage and case storage. I used wire shelves in the place.

This is my guitar wall. I only have a few basses at this time and they are on a different wall. I only use Hercules GSP39WB PLUS hangers like you listed. I like them because they have the locking fingers to hold the instrument in.

The base wall is standard sheetrock with the boards (Wayfair purchase) attached to it via construction adhesive and 3 nails into every stud. The boards are 3/4" thick and the hangers use three screws each to mount. They've been up about 6.5 years with (knocks on wood) no problems at all.

I had slatwall hangers in my last house but SWMBO said it looked like a guitar store and said I should get different hangers when we moved to our current house. Plus, they moved to uneven spacing sometimes when I would take a guitar down and that just played havoc with my OCD tendencies.
