Ok I have an older Crate BX-25 combo amp. beside the headphone output there is one that has a little speaker with a note coming out of it.... now would I beable to run a cable from that to my mixer? Or is that not an output? I honesly have no idea what it is for.

I wouldnt want to buy a soundcard and mixer just to find out I need a new amp for direct input too haha.

Yeah, that's probably a line out, so yes, you'd be able to run a cable from it to your mixer.

Actually if it's got a picture of a speaker, I'd say that's an output for an additional speaker. If so, that output has beem amplified and will be way too hot for running it to your mixer.
