Plugging bass into pedal, then on phones

So, I'm at a location where I have no option of bringing my amps to play on.

Before I drive home several kilometres to get the bass and the needed stuff I must ask:

- Is it possible to plug the bass (fender jazz) into an EBS multicomp for example and then plug the phones on the pedal output, so I can stream the sound directly on the phones?

I used to do that with some zoom multieffect, worked fine, the problem is that I cannot use that atm. Would like to try with the EBS pedal, but I wonder - can I?

The pedal of course uses the 9v adapter.

In short, no, you need something with an amp of some kind. Stomp boxes don't have amps in them - multi effects with headphone outs do.

Mini amps, like mentioned above - or an iRig if you use an iPad, iPod touch, or iPhone - are possibilities.

you know if you have other pedals that you will be using, i suggest you use a headphone amp such as EBS microbass ii, 3 leaf the enabler, EHX headphone amp, zoom b3 or you might want to get those microamp head that has a headphone out.

If you dont have any pedals that you will be plug into, i recommend the korg pandora mini versatile little practice tool, has built in tuner, metronome, fx, drum machine.
The reason why i dont recommend the pandora mini when you have pedals to plug in is because, i noticed a huge drop on volume when there are/is pedal between the bass and the pandora mini.
