The reason I'm not going the SX route is that-
A. I've had Squiers before, I trust the name, I like the one I still have.
B. Neck. Neck neck neck.
C. I've got a small box of Squier parts and I'd like to fool around and see what kind of monsters I can make.
D. I'm a superficial Fender geek, and the headstock decal matters. Tough titties.
......Other than the decal, all other points are moot. And even that is weak, since it's not really a Fender![]()
Bright is good, bright is exactly what I'm going for, actually. I need this for a new punk band I'm starting with a friend and my Jazz with flats and vintage pups won't get the grind I need.
Do you have an SX for sale or something?![]()

Nah, they're just great instruments for the price. Certainly better than an old plywood Squier![]()

I'll send you a waterslide Fender decal. Next time you take a dump, string it up and put the label on the headstock. New bass...Tah-dah!
