We've heard about moving companies holding people's stuff ransom, but I never expected this kind of BS from PODS. We were quoted a delivery charge of $1,600 back in Sept of last year and when we called this morning to schedule delivery, it's now over $2,400! :scowl:
Per PODS, that initial quote was only good for 14 days and they also said that was only mileage and didn't include handling & logistics fees and a bunch of other BS. Needless to say, we will NEVER use them for ANYTHING ever again.
We found a moving company that will go to the PODS facility and unload our pod into their truck, bring it to us and unload for half of what PUTZ, I mean PODS, will.
