Bartozzi (Bartozzi Wojciechowski) - excellent player - puts those to very good use. He and Pilichowski are the highest profile Polish bass players I actually see using Polish basses in Poland.
Edit: I should add Pendowski/Pendofsky as well.

Bumping this thread to give a shoutout to the 1972 Defil I owned a few years ago. I traded the bass away quickly after doing some recording, but I love and still use its sound as samples from the recordings I've made. Even ended up on a Ghanian hip-hop track that got airplay on TV in Accra for a few weeks. These early Defil Rytms with the Bisonic-looking pickups and fully hollow bodies have a really nice sound. I remember I put groundwound strings on it, maybe GHS. The later Rytms with the pickups Defil would use later... don't know if those sound as cool.

Also something that might surprise many - it's still quite possible to get an early Mayones bass for under $200. They're mostly nothing fancy, though I did spot an Explorer-shaped one a few months ago, but historic. You can also find early 90s Mensfeld basses in that price range.

As far as newer builders go, Leswar is doing some "alternate history 50s" styled basses, and Lootnick has made some really wild designs.

The blue P bass in my profile pic is from Mateusz. It's not a Buzz, it's a 93 Japanese Fender that they refinished in nitro. Very good relic job and setup. The nitro on the neck feels incredible.
I also have a friend here who has bought many basses from him over the years, though I don't remember if he has a Buzz. Very happy as well.

I would say the value was amazing years ago because you'd get Custom Shop basses at MIM prices. Now it's still good value but their prices have crept up. Still their paint jobs are peerless in Poland.

Any review of the works of Polish bass builder Mateusz Piotrowski / Buzz Hornet ?

He does really good set ups. I don't like his relic work as it has that typical look of nitro over poly (or similar hard modern finish). It makes 'relicing' very easy as one can just scrape the nitro off. He brings in a lot of basses from Japan and reworks them. His prices are very fair and he does get some cool stuff.
