If it did, how long did it last and when did you buy it? From what I'm reading, there may have been a bad batch that Amazon fire-saled. I'd be purchasing from Sweetwater, where the reviews are quite favorable.

I want a pocket-sized amp so that I can return to having an amp and cab on stage while still loading in/out in one trip. I'm blowing out my ears right now because I have no stage volume, everything's been in-ears the last couple years.

I always have great PA support, so I'm not relying on my amp to fill a room. Just want some air moving past me so that I don't have to run my in-ears so loud and maybe I can get the smell of my 10-gigs-deep suit to waft toward the singers.

I don't believe GK makes the MB series anymore, or am I mistaken on that? The Elf is pretty much the same specs but a lot more money. The Gnome is interesting, but if Sweetwater doesn't sell it, I'm not buying it. CS and 2-year free warranty are too good to buy something like this elsewhere.

Mine fried within 2 weeks with about 2-3 hours of use never going above 12:00 on the volume. I did get it on the Amazon sale.

I liked it, but after it fried i decided to buy a used Quilter BB800 and couldn't be happier now.

It's a way to throw money away. I mean it can save you from overloading yourself with sugar and fat from overpriced Starbucks drinks for a couple weeks. Buy from a place you can return it. And play it right away. . When I got the first one, it died after 2 minutes, I got another one, worked. My tech gave a 250 watt resistor load and I put some bass loops from a looper and it crapped after 1.5 hours at 1/4 the volume. This is how bad they are.

Edit> Heck, never mind. Only seeing used ones listed for sale.

I've had mine for over a year now. Bought it as an "always in the gig bag" backup but have wound up using it quite a bit on small gigs lately. Used it for an outdoor gig on the 4th and had to push the heck out of it, the little guy held up fine. Not crazy about the tone but it takes my VT pedals really well.

I've had mine for about 2 years. Two of the bands I use it with play LOUD. Probably I have used it on 75 gigs so far.
I've paired it with an 8x10, 4x12, 2x12, 2x10 and 1x10. never have to push the master past noon. If I have the master past noon I'm asked to lower the volume.

If the stage is loud, like I’m in a horn/vocal band with 5 at least 1000 watt wedges (focused at their knees that they can’t hear even when cranked) but for me in the back, all five of them are focused right where I’m standing, a moderately loud drummer to my right and a Guitarist to my left, I would go deaf using in ears to overcome it. I use -25dB filters and and a rig that will put out up to 129 dBs hoping I’m hitting the right notes. LOL…
