Poly blue octave problem

Just got this pedal and I’m getting serious feedback and just noise. I’ve tried it in multiple locations on my board and any other pedal I put in its place seems fine. Does this thing need more power than usual? When I put it solo with its own power supply it is better but still doesn’t seem right. Anyone used this pedal?
