Yep.

Another instance of narrowminded people thinking image is everything.

For the amount of money they're splurging, they could easily just get a hot girl to actually do them and skip the prom altogether. ;)

It's amazing the lengths some teens will go to in order to be/feel accepted.

True story, I asked my friend's mom to prom (somewhat as a joke, somewhat because I hoped she'd say yes :D). My friend's dad (her ex husband) found out about this, and one day when I was over at his place with my friend he randomly said, "So you asked my ex wife out to prom, huh?"




There was a jmattbassplaya sized hole in the wall less than a second after he said that. It also probably didn't help that I was dating his daughter (my friend's younger sister) during that time, either :D

*edit* I should clarify! I wasn't dating the daughter when I asked the mom to prom. I was dating the daughter a year later, which was when he asked me about asking his ex wife to prom.

I had forgotten something important at my best friend's house one day and had called to make sure somebody was home so I could come back and get it before going to bed. I get there and it's 9pm, nobody's home except for my friend's mom who was always a hottie wearing nothing but cute lingerie and acting kinda "strange."

To this day, I wonder if she wanted some action from a 16yo who was looking pretty good back then. lol!

Why do you assume she won't be doing him? She never went to prom, probably has some daddy issues, sex is part of the whole prom fantasy. I'd say he's got a 70% chance.

The, um, actress, mentioned in the article I had never heard of. Perhaps if this story didnt make the press his plan would have worked and his schoolmates would have thoughthe scored a date with a hot chick (or his cousin).
