I will be picking up a generator soon to back-up my sump pump and a few appliances. This is all driven by the storm that dropped 7" of rain in my area.
If I had lost power, I would have been screwed with the amount of water entering my basement.
Anyway, since I am getting a generator, I was thinking of alternate uses such as outdoor gigs with my band, etc.
My questions are: How many watts is required to to run a smaller PA, bass and guitar amp, as well as lighting?
Anybody have direct experience?
I was in Costco the other day, and they have a 7,000 watt generator that allows 4 120v inputs. Cost $899.00
