Portable PA for Upright Bass

Good vibes, All!
First thread here. I play Upright Bass and sing solo.

Wanted to ask for some recommendations for a decent portable PA that I can plug my Upright Bass AND mic into. I'm getting a regular gig in a small hotel lounge and may not be able to use a friends gear anymore. I use a wah pedal and slap (Hinton style, not rockabilly) and play percussive on the body. Got The Realist so I've got a good pick up. Please help me Bass Masters in this Bass World! I don't wanna lose this gig! Good vibes from Las Vegas.

We needed a portable PA for events at work and found a good deal on a Nady RPA series portable PA system. I don't think they still make them but they are still for sale. There are models with 15", 12" or 10" speakers. Portable all-in-one box has a pull-up handle, tilt-back wheels, good power, multiple input channels and a strong speaker. If I needed a small PA for solo work I'd grab one.Invalid Link Removed

You are going to have to pay attention to impedance matching if you put the bass direct into the amplifier. I'm not up on what a Realist is, so disregard if this is irrelevant. The pickup on my upright is a full circle, and it sounds awful through the Carvin MB12 combo I often use with it, unless I also use the ToneHammer, although any preamp is probably going to work.
