I'm thinking about using my Christmas money to get myself a little digital recorder so I can put my ideas down. I was wondering if there was one that could also be used as an audio interface for my computer.
So for example, say I had some band practice and recorded a demo track. I bring it home and decide to touch up on a few things. I'd like to be able to plug it into my computer, run whatever software, and be able to manipulate everything in front of me. Or at least, have it hooked up to my computer and be able to record directly onto it with my recorder.
I want to keep this below $400 if possible.
