Possible bass VI build from an old show master strat

Picked this thing up this morning for $200. Neat little strat. I’ve always wanted a bass vi and I already have a strat, and I think the bass vi’s on the market are pretty boring looking. So I’m thinking of making a fun project frankenbass using either a baritone conversion neck from warmoth or possibly a bass vi neck, will have to take some measurements to see what will work with the neck pocket and if it would need to be modified. It would certainly be different!

Check out some of @alder threads. I think it’s in basses. He has made some short scale conversions out of strat bodies.

If you can slap a conversion neck in it, do it. Otherwise keep it as is, it’s too cool to go hacking at.
