So I Recently had some seymour duncan SPB-4 pickups put into my P bass (american special) to replace the stock ones. First 2 days all seems well, but I plug in today and now Its a WHOLE lot noisier, and I'm greeted with a crackle pop every so often. I know these are pretty hot pickups, but Is this to be expected? I called the local guitar shop and asked and he suggested maybe he didn't solder the pots well enough. I asked some other people but they just don't hear it, which is worrying me....
Tested it on another amp because I thought it was my amp at first. Not the case.
