The post edit window (time limit to edit one's post) has been discussed at length among TB moderators and admins. We've decided to try expanding the time limit for our supporting members, as well as add rule text in order to help our moderators deal with abuse of the edit function.
New post edit timeframes:
Post edit functionality should be used to fix minor mistakes only. Any use of the forum’s post edit function to alter the original intent of a post, or to remove content that results in damage to the exisiting discussion, is a violation of this rule.
New post edit timeframes:
- Members: 1 Hour
- Supporting Members: 12 Hours
- Gold Supporting Members: 24 Hours
