Though it needed nothing, that Lake Placid Blue / matching headstock paint job suckered me right in, and I've not owned a 4-string bass since 1990. Always admired that look in the 60's originals. I bought this Squier James Johnston Signature Jazz Bass with an eye to customizing it a bit, easy with Fender's long established parts range.
