Actually if I had to get anything Boss (not saying they're bad) I would get that wah. It's the V-wah right? That actually gets some really awesome sounds. I have a Dunlop Crybaby Bass Wah but I really do think the V-wah is better after trying it out. It doesn't have the tone suck the Dunlop does either.
Yeah, its the V-wah. Only Wah Boss make, AFAIK.
it keeps the low end quite well, for what it is. I particularly like the rotarty (uni-v) sound, good when combined with the chorus capabilities of the ps-3. I comes with a cool little synth-type sound as a preset, which is fun to play around with. I couldn't really use it in a band situation, but its fun none-the-less.
It was the first pedal I ever bought (wow, its old). The on-board distortion/overdrive/fuzz/what-have-you are far from the best, but my position doesn't call for that sort of thing anyway. They were fun to experiment with, but I guess it saved me money by showing me I didnt really need distortion etc as a staple. I reccomend it to everyone I know.
