Tayste, I've been looking at the Nebula Phaser quite a bit lately. I've listened to the sound samples, and it seems like a really strong phaser. I'm looking for something more subtle. A medium-fast speed, making the tone fatter without pronouncing the woosh. Can the Nebula do that?

Are you sure your listening to the right clips the nebula is a 2 stage phaser and one of the most subtle you can buy.

Here are some of my clips just to make certain

If you find these over powering I doubt you'll find a more subtle phaser as its based on the Dod 201 and Mxr Phase 45 design with a few tweaks so very few other phasers that can even go this subtle.

Also if you do like the current Nebula's are in a black sparkle which is very nice

Nope

Well the last one is in the loop of the blender but the blender isn't on, its just there as thats how I was gigging with it and wasn't going to pull it off the board just for soundclips, but it's not blended at all, I recently removed the nebula from the loop as if you blend it you can't tell it's on.

Okay, so this is what I've been playing with. I'm probably changing some things around soon. I'm replacing the Metal Zone with a Hotcake ASAP, I'm talking to someone about a used 00Funk Mk II, Death By Audio and I are working on making a bass-friendly Octave Clang, I'm dying to try a Rack-mounted Sample & Hold unit, I need a bypass/feedback loop, and the 3Xfx Fat Man and Wolftone Chaos are also high on the list. (Also I'm still struggling with the Ampeg SCP-OCT).

Here's my current setup: (Sorry for the crappy camera phone pictures)

Signal chain is as follows:

Bass/Theremin-> Loop-Master Micro A/B ->Boss GT-6B->EHX LBM-> Metal Zone-> PH-3 ->BF-2 ->DD-20 -> Verbzilla -> PBDDI ->FV-500L -> Amp

Haha I didn't realize how many Boss pedals I have on my board right now. I've been using the BF-2 more than the Liqua Flange recently, and I really dig the PH-3/DD-20. Go figure. Maybe I can work out an endorsement deal ;-D

I love it. I have Preset 1 as a cool modulating effect that make my bass sound kind of Hammond-like. Preset 2 is Twist delay. I use the delay in many songs by itself, and I can use the Twist when things get really crazy. Preset 3 is a short (130ms) delay with low feedback (just 1 repeat). It's also warp, so I can use it to create a wall of sound. In my last band, I'd just hold Warp down after we finished the song, and we'd jump straight into the next one. Preset 3 is just a sweet sounding Analog delay. The open setting is Sound-on-sound, so I can loop anything I need then jump to any delay preset I want.

It lets me do anything I want with plenty of room to experiment. The delay sounds excellent too. It may not be as warm as a Memory Man, but it's close enough for me. I can also do pretty much anything the Memory Man can and more, even the radical oscillating sounds. Once you figure it out, it's the best delay pedal on the market IMO.
