    be good get into record here at TB. :)

    Just wondering what string height you guys are using right now on
    your EUB:

    String Height (measured at the end of the fingerboard):
    Make and Model:
    Is your EUB "bowable":

    bowable, but I don't bow it.
  3. Carruthers SUB-1 with Pirastro orchestrals (see profile for more details).

    E = 9 mm
    G = 7 mm

    I'm not bowing either although it'd be possible.

    I bow my BSX Allegro on gigs all the time. It sounds great. Using Weichs and the strings are as low as i can have them without buzzing.

    arco and pizz equally
    strings: d'addario helicore hybrids, med. guage
    action as low as possible while bow-able, too much pressure on the bow can produce a little buzz at the b on the g string(only)
    i'll be damned if it isn't lower than some bass guitars i've owned...
    the neck was sanded and teched by david guage in nyc after purchase..
    now i just need a ruler!
