This may be a question for the mods but I'm somewhat of a newb on this board. I'm looking to trade some guitars for a bass and unsure where I can and can't post it in. I would prefer to post it in the bass classifieds since it probably gets a ton more traffic than the misc. where I see the rest of the guitars. Not sure what the etiquette is I guess, thanks beforehand.

If what you're offering for trade is guitars, and not basses, then they go in the "other stuff" section of the classifieds.
You're right about the traffic in the bass classifieds, but the other stuff section isn't exactly a ghost town. A well-crafted thread with a lot of good pictures and information should do just fine.
