Posting Pix

I've posted small pictures via the attachment/thumbnail process, but am wondering how you post larger ones. I have sized my jpegs (like below) "best for the web." Am I missing something obvious? Suggestion(s) welcome & appreciated. Merry Christmas! Dave.

There are limits on the file size here you can use for attachements. If you want to post huge pics that end up putting a horizontal slide bar cause it's so big and then makes it totally annoying to read that page of a thread then get a photobucket account. I think that's probably what most guys around here use.

most of us have a photobucket site or similar which we upload our photos to, then link to them

Your best bet is to set up an account at an image hosting website. I use Photobucket; it's pretty slick and it's free. You basically just upload your pictures from your computer, and they are then stored in your online album. The nice thing about Photobucket is that they have small fields below each picture that already have the IMG /IMG tags that this forum uses, so you just copy the tag, paste in your post, and when you submit the post the picture pops up.
