Pot trouble

Hey guys the bridge pickup volume pot on my 69 jazz bass has broken and know just twists all the way around.How do i stop this.

First, be sure your knob isn't loose, or that the pot isn't spinning in the hole.

If it's tight and the pot stop is gone, you'll have to replace the pot. They aren't repairable.

The little thing that stops the knob from turning all the way around is probably broken. I don't think pots are that expensive so you should just replace it.

If you think the knob is loose, look for a setscrew to tighten. If you think the pot is loose, remove the knob and gently tighten the nut surrounding the pot shaft.
