Powder coating a chrome bridge?

Has anybody ever power coated a chrome bridge. I have a hipshot type A 6 string chrome and want a black one instead.
I was thinking of buying a cheap kit and pc the bass plate cuz the saddles would be too hard with all the little orfices...

Check out Lakewood industries online, many good powder coat set-ups for not much money, their stuff works great, my neighbor has a set up and did some corners and screws for my amp 5 years ago. Just toss in the oven and voila. Very cool, and my amp still looks new.
