Power tube heaters

In my other day job, I used to use cartridge fuses like that ALL the time, only bigger (much bigger, up to 1200 amps, in 208/240/480V circuits). Many holders use bolted connections at 600 amps and above to decrease contact heating at the attachment points. Of course, one of those fuses were larger and weighed more than an entire Subway amp ;)
