Can you use powered mixers such as this Invalid Link Removed for recording operations such as mixing down a miced drum set to one channel? I am guessing not, but I am not sure. Thanks.

bishopthomas said:Do NOT use the stereo main outs. Using a speaker level signal will damage your soundcard. You want a line level signal via something like the record out, tape out, line out, or power amp out.
