So I had my first rehearsel with my upright and the newly installed FFC, and all I can say is.......WOW!

I am really satisfied with this pickup. I plugged in the bass, turned on the amp, and it sounded like my bass coming out of the amp. I was worried that it would have alot more "electric bassiness" to it, but not at all. Some of the reading I did suggested that a 15" combo amp would be too much due to the speaker size and such, but honestly, it sounded incredible. Thanks to all that provided input in my other threads. And to the others just browsing through, fishman fc gets a thumbs up from me.

I did the same thing after my first FC enabled gig. Ain't it great?
Sure beat the heck out of my old BP-100. :smug:

For what it's worth, I've noticed that the 15" debate greatly depends on the music you're playing. If you do a lot of quarter-note fundamentals (bluegrass, americana, circus music, oompah band), a 15" will deliver quite nicely. If you do a lot of fiddilly stuff up high on the fingerboard, I find that a 15" just doesn't respond 'quickly' enough, and a 2x10 is called for to get the higher-end and quickness.
