Pre 01 Ashdown and powered sub?

Are the pre-2001 Ashdown cabs as good as the current ones? Also, does anyone have experience with the powered sub from Ashdown? Good, bad?

Check this out. It's in the next town over from me and I'm thinking about begging my parents for a loan so I just want to make sure I'm not wasting my time.

Do a search. A few people have said that Ashdown has had some problems in the past. However, I believe they were referring to the Electric Blue series only. I would assume that the cabs are still good.

My ABM 810 is about 10 months old and its the best cab Ive ever had in 27 years of playing, thats all I can say.

Hmmm - I too have seen that Ashdown rig on trademe - I have the standard ABM 15 inch cab, it sounds great, not sure about the powered version however...
