Pre-amp into tube head?

I was recently thinking of hooking up a preamp (specifically tech 21 geddy lee signature) so that it would go into a tube head (trayor yba 200), and then into a 1x15 cab,

Would this be possible? And how would I go about doing so?

Manual says you have a -20db pad output so it should be OK into the amp main input. If you want to bypass your preamp on the Traynor, go in to the effects return.

Either right in through the guitar regular or active input of the head, keeping the tube preamp in the path

Or Guitar pedal the AMP IN jack bypassing the tube preamp.

Experiment with both.

And you can use the effects loop: plug the guitar into the regular spot and insert the pedal: pre out to pedal and back to amp in. Thi option may not be best sounding but worth a try.

in this case you would use the input pad on the Sansamp back panel. It might be the best sound!
