I recently just swapped out the pre amp tubes on one of my tube amps. Previously channel one was already super quiet but the 2nd channel that was voiced more for guitar/higher treble had a hum to it (fairly loud hum) but I figured that it was just due to the high treble. After the tube swap both channels are dead quiet. I figured if there was a bad pre tube both channels would be affected... any opinions on this ?
