Ok so I’ve wired up a number of preamps now and never been an issue. So here’s what’s going on. I’m putting a Noll TCM2 into a Fender Elite Jazz V. The preamp was prewired but I’m having to use the crazy 9 connector Fender jack because the hole is WAY TOO small. I dremeled it out a good bit but the fitment just wasn’t working. Anyways I’ve matched everything up with what I think should be correct. Everything is functioning as it should but you touch anything metal or the strings it hums. If you touch the output jack is silences it. So there’s a grounding issue somewhere but I’m at a loss. I’ve checked over it a million times now. Any clues or thoughts from the TB brethren??
